Melamine is a moisture resistant fibreboard factory bonded with hardwearing melamine impregnated decorative paper to both sides, suitable for use in areas of high humidity or where accidental wetting may occur. Similar to its benchtop counter part (laminate), Melamine is an inexpensive and adaptable material.

Melamine Impact Edge Finishes
Add our durable 2mm rigid ABS edge to the preferred suppliers range of laminate door colors to give a subtle and ultra durable door finish. ABS edging is used for edging panels in applications such as doors and drawers, commercial furniture panels such as desktops and workstations, shelving, and domestic and retail fitout.

Contour or Rolled Edge
The Contour Door or Rolled Edge range is produced on a selected range of standard Lamiwood or Colourpanel (Melamine) MR colours. It offers either Vertical or Horizontal edge rounding to soften those hard lines.

Thermoformed Doors are manufactured from an 18mm thick, moisture resistant, MDF substrate. The substrate is routed into various designs and profiles, then coated with a two-part high heat resistant adhesive and covered with a durable, non-porous, stain resistant foil. The foil is formed and sealed to the MDF panel using a special press that applies a combination of heat, pressure and vacuum to form the foil into the shape of the door. In the same process the adhesive is heat cured to create a solid bond between the foil and the substrate.

Thermolaminated doors are available in more than 70 designs and over 45 modern colours and printed wood grains.
